Stainforth Kirton Lane Primary School

SEND Information

Kirton Lane wants all children to achieve their maximum potential in the most safe and comfortable setting. We fully understand that every child is individual, with different capabilities and needs. Any children who have special educational needs or disabilities have our full support and a team of fully trained staff with their best interests at heart.
Mrs Campton is our SENCo. Manager, Mrs Butler is our assistant SENCo manager and Mrs Blenkiron is our overall Inclusion Officer.  They are here to support you and your child with any particular learning or health difficulties that they are facing which have an impact on how they learn and/or how they access the school building.
Our team can help support with referrals to various health and assessment agencies and then support in bringing these agencies together so that a collaboration of professionals are able to support you and your child.
If you wish to speak to Mrs Campton, Mrs Butler or Mrs Blenkiron about any of the above, please contact the office to arrange an appointment. Kirton Lane is always here to support.

Early Help

Early Help Service is about prevention and early intervention by providing support to families when a need is identified at any point in a child’s life.

This is to prevent the need for a statutory service like children social care and they work with families to identify strengths and find solutions.
