Read, Write Inc
Read, Write Inc (RWI) is a phonics scheme designed to teach your child to read. It is introduced in the summer term of Nursery and taught throughout key stage one and is used to support children in key stage two.
Your child will have a RWI session every day where they will learn new reading skills whilst building upon existing ones. It is also important that you support your child with their reading at home. You can do this by listening to your child read regularly and also by reading to your child and sharing stories together.
