Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life.

The Eco committee are doing a fabulous job of ensuring that the school playground is tidy, waste is recycled and electrical equipment is turned off when teachers aren't using it!

The committee is made up of children from the school council and is led by year 5 'Eco-Warrior' Jevon Perkins.

The children have taken part in an Eco activity day all about 'looking after our planet'. The children looked at saving electricity, recycling, saving water and different ways to travel to school instead of in a car.
